  22. being new to the list and the subject I would like to ask you experts to set
  23. some pointers for me.

  25. I am looking for two kinds of applications related to each other:
  26.  
  27. - a hypertext document retrieval system (with and without network capabilities)
  28. - a hypertext context sensitive help system
  29.  
  30. After a first look at xmosaic I am asking myself whether it is possible to use it
  31. unchanged for the former problem and use a 'subset' of xmosaic for the latter
  32. (a hypertext browser or -library).
  33.  
  34. I want to support Macs (partly with AU/X), PCs (Windows, Desqview/X),
  35. and Unix boxes (Sun, SGI, mips) either with the
  36. same X11 based application using all the available Xservers on these platforms,
  37. or using architecture dependent applications.
  38.  
  39. Any suggestions/experiences/ideas on that?
